Satan and I have been in our same ole battle of fear. He tries to scare the life out of me (and succeeds way too often) and I get scared and freeze up. I mean like can barely get dressed some days I find fear so paralyzing.
I find that my power lies in […]

DH and the boy ran off to Kentucky last night for some mule event. As happy as I was to have total control of the TV and recliner to watch the game (that we so totally WON) I am missing them.
They are about 2 hours from home. I’m trying to decide whether to […]

I saw that KSMilkmaid had a post on making your own […]

When I opened my Bible to read, I was looking for “do […]

I don’t have a perfect laundry system by any means. I think a perfect system would imply the laundry was done on a regular basis and was never allowed to pile up to unfathomable heights. What I do have, is a pretty darn good system for tackling that mountain of my own making.
My […]

I remembered this tip when I decided to go with slip on tennies instead of flip flops. It was too hot for socks, but I didn’t want stinky toes. I just gave ‘em a good spraying of deodorant and it’s all good.
No sweaty stinky feet here!

In the last few weeks, I’ve seen God do amazing and incredible things for our family. So why, with a new challenge presenting itself, do I fall back into my old patterns of worry?
God has assured me that all will be OK. Yet I find myself continually going back to the problem. […]
