feeling a bit out of it
Today is not starting off on the right foot. I have tripped over whatever foot I did start off on. First thing, Baby Girl and TwinGirlC woke up early. TGC (twin girl c) had some computer time owed to her, so I let her play while I slept. I woke up to BabyGirl trying to give me something. When I was able to open my eyes enough to see what it was, I realized I should have just left them closed. It was the earpiece to my glasses. Glasses that I do not have the money to replace or have fixed.
TGC found my old glasses (that I don’t like) so now my eyes are trying to get readjusted. The presciption is the same, but they sit on my face differently and it makes the ground look like I’m walking up hill all the time. I don’t really know how to describe it, but if you wear glasses I bet you know what I’m talking about. It usually takes me about a day to readjust.
My allergies are also out of control. I ran to Dollar General one town over to buy some cheapo Benadryl but they were out. I had to shell out $4 for the real stuff. I took one and it is helping, but now I am super sleepy.
It’s county fair time and we have planned to go ride rides this afternoon with my sister. I’d rather go this evening, but DH and TheBoy have a rodeo this evening which trumphs the fair. (If you’re DH and TheBoy - not so much for the girls - they can’t get enough fair)
