..soaking up Saturday

I love Saturdays when I don’t have to be anywhere. I have all day to catch up on the laundry and dishes. I’m hoping to get at least part of my LR carpet cleaned today too. It’s old and nasty. I’d love to pull it all up, but DH isn’t onboard with that plan. There are some things on the house I can do w/o his direct approval, but this isn’t one of them. He has specifically warned me that there would be trouble if he came home and I had ripped it all out. So, it’s a no go.
When I decided to paint our dining room pink (well, more of a peachy pink color) he didn’t exactly approve, but he didn’t really care either way.
So I’m off to battle the dirt and grime that has taken up residence in my home.
