..watching my little boy grow up

B (who will turn 5 this month) has reached a milestone in little boy life. He is completely self sufficient in the bathroom. Yep, no more hollering for me to come “WIPE MY BUTT”. This does of course creat a little more laundry trouble, because little boys and poo are notorious. I have to admit I’m a little sad. Only a mom would be sad about something like that doncha think? I love watching him grow into a little man, but I hope he always has time for his mama.

Wow, My 5 year old son ain’t quite there yet. EVERY TIME he poops we hear “the yell”. I can’t wait for the day that he does it himself. Although, I do understand what you mean about it being sad to see them leaving one stage and growing onto another.
